Community's teens unite over night of dodgeball

TEEN DODGEBALL—Nearly 100 teenagers making up eight teams competing in the high school dodge ball tournament hosted by the Jewish Student Union at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center Sept. 20.
Above, the winning team was the Green Team, made up of teens from JSU, NCSY, BBYO and Young Judaea: (left to right) Asher Margoles, Joshua Leisner, George Wolff, Isaac Ward-Fineman, Matan Goodblatt, Jacob Riley Gold, Ian Fox, Justine Silberberg, Ariel Berne, Yoni Rappaport and Ben Overlund. The tournament was the first in a series of three events designed to unite teens from all of the community’s youth groups. The JSU-hosted series is funded by an Innovation Impact Grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.
