Photographer includes Portland in online library of Jewish images

Women’s fitness series set
Portland Jewish Events and Moishe House offer a Women’s Summer Fitness Series 2008 for Jewish women, 21-39 on Monday nights in June, July and August.
The series is limited to 20 women per month-long session. Each of the three sessions costs $10 and includes an evening of yoga, aerobics, open swimming and hip hop dance. read more »
Women’s basketball open to all
The Jewish Moms’ Basketball League and Moishe House have teamed up for the 2008 Women’s Summer Scrimmage Basketball League.
The Jewish Mom’s Basketball League was founded four years ago by a group of mothers whose children played middle school basketball at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center. The seventh-grade boys’ coach agreed to coach a group of interested moms who wanted to scrimmage weekly. Since then the group has expanded to include non-moms of any religion. read more »
