WEDDING

REITER/HOLLANDER

Stephanie Reiter married Todd Hollander on June 21 at the Portland Hilton Hotel. Rabbi Cahana from Congregation Beth Israel officiated. Reiter is the daughter of Dr. Greg and Eleanore Reiter of Portland. Grandparents are Susan Gerson and Phillip and Dorothy Reiter. Hollander is the son of Steve and Ann Hollander of Scottsdale, Ariz.

BUSINESS

KIM ROSENBERG

Registered Representative Kim Rosenberg joined Rosenbaum Financial, LLC, where she will she will expand the client base to a new generation of investors. Rosenberg also is passionate about helping clients who are faced with the financial strain of chronic illness.

DEATHS

MELVIN FEINSTEIN

A funeral service was held for Melvin Feinstein June 22 at the Beth Israel Cemetery. Mr. Feinstein died June 20 at the age of 80. A lifelong Portland resident, Mr. Feinstein was the founder and president of Commercial Real Estate Brokers of Portland. He also was a commercial appraiser for Multnomah County, an independent real estate broker and a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club. Mr. Feinstein is survived by his wife Judith, daughters Joni Feinstein, Marcia Feinstein-Tobey and Lynn Feinstein, son Michael Feinstein, sister Irene Arron and five grandchildren. LILLIAN ISAACSON

A funeral service was held for Lillian Isaacson Aug. 27 at the Mt. Sinai Mortuary Chapel in Los Angeles. Mrs. Isaacson died Aug. 22 at the age of 91. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Isaacson married George Isaacson in 1935. She primarily worked for the California Department of Employment and had lived in Portland for the past four years. Mrs. Isaacson also was a member of B’nai B’rith, the West Hills Unitarian Fellowship and Show Stoppers. She is survived by her daughter Natalie Reich and three grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.

HAROLD SCHWARTZ

Mr. Schwartz died from complications of diabetes Sept. 3 in Palm Springs, Calif. Mr. Schwartz earned a bachelor’s in English from the University of Washington and a master’s from Portland State University. He taught at W.F. West High School in Chehalis, Wash., for 29 years and was a longtime advisor for the student yearbook and the foreign exchange program with W.F. West’s sister school Seirei Christopher in Hamamatsu, Japan. Mr. Schwartz also was a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity. He is survived by former wife Joanne, children David, Robin and Mychal, brother Ken Schwartz, sister Gloria Newman and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Camp Solomon Schechter.
